Electrical Panel Fabricator/ Assembler

Description

Utilizing mostly assembled, rather than fabricated, components, employ wiring and fine motor assembly skills to produce electrical control assemblies/panels for clients. Closely follow drawings and specifications while applying strong attention to detail and impeccable fabrication skills to manufacture electrical control panels that meet Core Automation standards.


Skills and Knowledge

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields is favorable
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and apply blueprints and drawings to the task at hand
  • Understanding of electrical equipment, components, and instrumentation
  • Proficiency in understanding electrical drawings
  • Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
  • Capable of handling a physical workload
  • Embraces both teamwork and individual tasks
  • Aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Functions

  • Collaborate with a team to fabricate entire products or components
  • Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and templates
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and procedures
  • Conduct quality inspections on in-progress and completed products and parts
  • Prepare finished products for shipment
  • Identify/ check-in incoming materials and verify quality
  • Ensure fabrication materials are stocked and notify engineers of depleted supplies
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Regularly participate in shop upkeep and organization
  • Provide assistance to engineers in designing and fabricating control panels, circuits, and instrumentation

Requirements and Demands

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, reach and bend
  • Less than 10% travel in the field
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Regularly required to exercise all necessary safety precautions and skills

Schedule and Pay

  • Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM
  • Pay Starting at $22/ hour (commensurate with experience)
